MOORESVILLE, North Carolina – In response to soaring inflation, Ann-Margaret Wagner, Owner of Eddie’s on Lake Norman, announces new policies. The restaurant now charges a $1 surcharge per check and passes along credit card processing fees to customers paying by credit card.
Businesses across the United States , not just restaurants, have had to implement similar policies to combat inflation. Although these necessary measures might not appeal to the public, they are still much less costly than eight- to 10 percent inflation fees other Lake Norman and Mooresville area restaurants now impose on their patrons.
“We regret having to charge our customers a $1 surcharge per check and ask them to pay the credit card processing fees when paying for their meals with a credit card, but we have no choice,” explains Wagner. “With escalating food and supply costs, we had to impose these new fees to continue to provide the excellent meals and service our customers expect. Unlike our competitors, we chose not to charge an eight to 10 percent inflation fee. Instead, we opted for the minimum amount necessary to keep our doors open and remain the fun, family-friendly spot on Lake Norman. Our commitment to providing the freshest, best-quality food, beverages, and music will never change. We invite everyone to enjoy Eddie’s on Lake Norman’s sumptuous meals, refreshing drinks, and live entertainment, and look forward to serving locals and vacationers for years to come.”

Ann-Margaret Wagner brings her hospitality and restaurant expertise from New York to the shores of Lake Norman with Eddie’s On Lake Norman. Ann-Margaret is the former owner of a successful restaurant in Westchester County, New York, called The Muscoot Tavern, an iconic “Cheers-like” bar and grille. After visiting Lake Norman, she fell in love with the area, saw potential in the restaurant, and decided to make North Carolina her new home with her daughter Lacy.
After purchasing the business, which was previously Vinnie’s Sardine Grille and Raw Bar, she completely renovated the entire space, sold the other restaurant, and moved south. The kitchen is filled with all new appliances, while the bar, dining room, and back patio were all touched up to create a clean, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Whether in North Carolina, New York, or anywhere else, Ann-Margaret’s mission is always to provide the freshest seafood, prime meats, produce, pasta, and bread, every meal.
“I hope you enjoy eating our delicious cooking as much as we love making it for you!”
– Ann-Margaret
