Eddie’s on Lake Norman Welcomes Families to Celebrate Father’s Day

Ann-Margaret Wagner • May 12, 2023

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina—Father’s Day is Sunday, June 18, and Eddie’s on Lake Norman is ready to celebrate. The restaurant, which recently complemented its outdoor seating area with The Sunset Garden , offers live entertainment, fresh seafood, authentic Italian cuisine, various beverages, and a mouthwatering dessert menu. At the Sunset Walkway, guests can grab a cocktail at the bar and sit in several seating locations overlooking Lake Norman. With so much to enjoy, Eddie’s on Lake Norman is the perfect place to celebrate fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures for their contributions.

Around the world, people take time to honor the special bond between a father and child. From mid-June until early November, many countries celebrate Father’s Day in some form or another. In Europe alone, you can find celebrations from Ascension Day (Germany) through Constitution Day (Denmark), while Egypt honors fathers with the start of summer on June 21st. Here in the U.S., we owe our honored holiday recognition to President Richard Nixon, who signed it into law on April 24th, 1972—making Father’s Day one of only two federal holidays celebrated annually for any single gender.

The family-friendly Eddie’s on Lake Norman offers an ideal setting for commemorating the men who raise, mentor, and love their children.

“We invite locals and tourists to Lake Norman to celebrate Father’s Day at Eddie’s on Lake Norman,” says owner Ann-Margaret Wagner. “Our friendly staff provides top-notch service, while our entrees satisfy every palate. Whether dads and their families love seafood, Italian, or American cuisine, there’s something delicious on our menu for everyone. With summer in full swing, families can enjoy lake views, balmy breezes, and live entertainment while celebrating this special holiday.”

Eddie’s on Lake Norman does not take reservations. For more information, call (704) 799-2090 or visit https://eddieslkn.com/.

About Eddie’s on Lake Norman

Ann-Margaret Wagner brings her hospitality and restaurant expertise from New York to the shores of Lake Norman with Eddie’s On Lake Norman. Ann-Margaret is the former owner of a successful restaurant in Westchester County, New York, called The Muscoot Tavern, an iconic “Cheers-like” bar and grille. After visiting Lake Norman, she fell in love with the area, saw potential in the restaurant, and decided to make North Carolina her new home with her daughter Lacy.

After purchasing the business, which was previously Vinnie’s Sardine Grille and Raw Bar, she completely renovated the entire space, sold the other restaurant, and moved south. The kitchen is filled with all new appliances, while the bar, dining room, and back patio were all touched up to create a clean, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. Whether in North Carolina, New York, or anywhere else, Ann-Margaret’s mission is always to provide the freshest seafood, prime meats, produce, pasta, and bread for every meal.

“I hope you enjoy eating our delicious cooking as much as we love making it for you!”
